Agree Date

if you have already set a date we'll need to check availability, otherwise we can find a mutual date or provide a choice of dates. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays need to be booked further ahead as these are the busiest evenings.

Number of guests

We'll need to know how many guests you intend to invite and how many you think will attend! Minimum numbers are 10, otherwise unlimited! If you have fewer than 10 we can still run the tasting but need to charge for 10 guests. We ask that you confirm numbers a week in advance and let us know of any last minute changes up to the day before.

Wine for the tasting

ThirtyFifty is a wine entertainment and education company. We do not sell wine. All wines for your event are supplied by our prefered wine supplier and ordered 2 weeks before the event.

Venue

We can run the tasting at your home or at any alternative venue that is happy to accommodate us. At a restaurant the tasting needs to be in a private room and not in the main restaurant. Many will offer the room free of charge, provided you stay to eat. Here are some venues we have used.

Food

We suggest nibbles or cheese & biscuits are provided plus water.

The Wine Tasting

We provide wine tasting glasses, spittoons and tasting notes. A qualified ThirtyFifty Wine Consultant will run the tasting. The wine tasting is approximately 2 hours long but can be quicker or longer as required.

Payment

We accept credit cards, cash or cheque either in advance or at the tasting.
