London Wine Fair returns to a live event

After only a digital event in 2021, the London Wine Fair returned this week to London's Olympia exhibition hall.

The ticket price of £45 has definitely affected the numbers, along with travel chaos caused by cancelled flights and Prowein taking LWF's preferred date, forcing them to move to the June 7th-9th. The show has certainly shrunk since its heyday at Excel, however there was much more focus on business with merchants able to engage rather than simply pouring wines for punters. Robb Merchant, owner of Welsh Wine producer White Castle Vineyard, said that he had come to find a representative for their wines in London and was happy with the quality of visitors he'd met.
